Finally True Blood!

Alright! I watched the entire 4th season of True Blood and I have to say...(in no particular order)
  • What the hell?
  • a little slow in the beginning but amnesia Eric was pretty entertaining.
  • Marnie and the other witches = kinda boring yet interesting
  • What the hell was up with Lafayette's hair?
  • I am so tired of seeing Sookie cry!
  • I'm so glad Eric was the one who finally called her Snooki
  • Bill is a little too short for me...
  • GRAN!
  • What happened to Jesus? He was so hot in season 3
  • Alcide
  • NOT ENOUGH GINGER
  • Mikey looks like a grown ass man
  • Newlin?
  • I never need to see Bill with his shirt off again
  • Pam, where were you?
  • Did Eric steal a line from X-Men: First Class?
  • I would give anything to have Eric Northman build a secret chamber in my home and pop in and out as he pleases.
  • This is so much better than Twilight
  • Debbie is still pissed over Cooter?
  • Where was Marcus' hairline?
  • Tara! Girl you should have followed your first mind.
  • Sookie! Just hurry up and choose Alcide. I'm tired of playing this game with you
  • I said AWWWWW when I saw Terry holding Felix
  • Jessica is a slut, but I still love her
  • I'm so glad they got rid of that werepanther subplot. It was so boring
  • TALBOT!

That's NOT Cute!

This video is just all kinds of wrong. I don't know about anyone else but I was a little offended to see True Blood cleaned up so well. I like my TB crass and dirty, like blood NOT MUD! And not like this kiddie shit!

Another thing that offended me was the lack Sooooookey and the presence of a bunch of happy Muppets. Enough with The Muppets already! Them things have never been cute to me. It's not cynicism, I guess I just wasn't one of those kids that jumped for joy over The Muppets.

Who knows I might end up with a hellraiser who loves nothing but The Muppets as punishment for not liking them when I was supposed to.

I'm HOOOOOOOKED!

I am officially caught up with that the tomfoolery that is known as True Blood. I stopped watching the show after the 3rd episode of the first season. I don't know why, just did. However, I came back to the fuckery and I love it.

To my surprise, I don't mind the exaggerated Southern accents or the unbelievable storyline. I'm usually the cynical person in the room, talking about how Hollywood has fucked up, but when it comes to True Blood I had to realize none of it was believable...IT'S A SHOW ABOUT FUCKING VAMPIRES! nice.

I'm just glad that it's True Blood and not Twilight that has me excited every Sunday. I just don't get that sparkle vampire crap for anything. Why is he so moody? Why is she so pale? And how the hell could anyone be afraid of that cartoon werewolf? Ugh! Go away!

So far my favorite is lil vampy Jessica. She's so funny. It takes me back to my teenage years. I still remember no longer feeling like a girl but not yet a woman. She's so funny, curious, and cute. I'm so interested in the growth of her character.

Of course I love Lafayette! He's soooooo the friend that I would love to have. Nurturing, funny, and a party animal. I believe that if Lafayette were a real person, we would definitely be besties.

Sookie and Bill are the only characters that I have reservations about. Hell I like Eric and that randomly changing dogboy before I like them. Seriously, how much trouble can this old dude and this little tramp get in? If Bill isn't saving Sookie, then Sookie is looking for Bill. I think they both need to take a break for about two episodes and let someone else get in trouble for a chance.

All in all, True Blood is a great show. It's entertaining, funny, and weird. Love it.

The last episode had me shaking my head. I know I'm a little late on the subject since it's Tuesday and the episode aired on Sunday, but I had to watch the episode at least two more times to see if I got everything straight. Did Bill really twist that woman's head around while he was having sex with her? What the hell is going on? Wow, okay. I understand that Bill was in a trance and was forced to have sex with someone who wasn't Suuuukay but damn? Okay Bill and weird lady who likes her head twisted in bed, do you thing. I ain't mad at you.

I just know now at this very moment that Sunday cannot get here soon enough. I'm so excited to figure out what Tara's new guy really wants. I already know that he's up to no good.

Oh this is sooooooo delicious!

Happy Birthday Bill and Ted!

I have to wish them a happy birthday in advance since I have two papers due this week. I should be working on them now, but I didn't think I could consider myself a true fan if I didn't take time out of my busy schedule to wish Bill S. Preston Esq. and "Ted" Theodore Logan a happy birthday.

Although the anniversary of their arrival isn't until tomorrow, I'm shedding a little tear today because the movie that adults once put on to shut me the hell up has now turned 21 or 23 depending on how you look at it (the movie was shot in 1987 but released in 1989).

Why does this film hold a special place in my heart? Besides starring that hot piece Keanu Reeves, it also stars that cutie-pa-tootie Alex Winter, a film director I have admired for some time. Anyone remember the movie Freaked? Well that was all him. I love that movie so much I might actually buy it instead of mooching off of youtube.

The dynamic duo, Keanu and Alex, haven't been in a film together since Freaked, but despite dumb ass low blows Keanu hasn't forgotten his original road dawg. In a recent interview Keanu talked about how they were recently out together on Halloween and a man in a smurf costume stopped and said to his buddy, "look it's two fat guys dressed up as Bill and Ted".

Oh how I wish I were the smurf that saw the most excellent sight. I wouldn't have been as rude as jack-ass mcgee, but I would have taken in that moment for what it was: a rare Alex Winter sighting.

Anywho, HBO has been showing Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey just about every day this month. It’s been pretty cool to come home to some dumb comedy after a long day. I laugh and say the lines along with the characters and have a gay old time just me and my tele. Maybe I should get a life…

Okay, back to focusing on the positive, I like Bill and Ted. I think they were good role models for my wayward generation. Despite the misconception that they were dumb, they actually were really smart guys that never tried. I will always remember the phrase “be excellent to each other” because it was sweeter than Barney telling me he loved me every five minutes. So World take this message from Bill and Ted and let's be excellent to each other. Let's party on dudes and may you have a most non-non non-non-non heinous outrageously bodacious day.

Shakespeare was not an author!

He was a playwright! Just thought I needed to get that misconception cleared up...
